and Compilation Albums - Warner/Reprise/Bizarre/Discreet | In
the 60's and 70's, the Warner Brothers record group regularly issued DJ promotion
albums and retail mail-order-only compilations of their artistes. They proved
to be an effective way to introduce potential record buyers to the new Warner/Reprise
albums. Many contained new tracks from post-Elektra Tim Buckley albums. |
