This disc features an amazingly psychedelic sleeve design and liner notes by top UK DJ John Peel, whose manager coincidentally was head of Elektra in the UK at the time.

It seems that Jac Holzman was not over enthusiastic about Elektra UK's release of compilations with 'colourful' sleeves but the tactic was chosen to try to give Elektra some identity in the UK market.
